Country singer Big Vinny of Trailer Choir might consider a change of his name. A former giant of 426 lbs, who used to entertain country fans with break dance at Trailer Choir concerts, entered NBC's reality show the Biggest Loser, in which he lost incredible 206 lbs! Even though he didn't become the winner, he claims the show saved his life. His extra large started having serious negative impact on his health, which eventually made him stop and want to change his life. Big Vinny lost 184 lbs during the show, then additional 22 lbs in the following months and now he is ready to keep living a healthy life.
In 2008 Trailer Choir signed a recording contract with Toby Keith's label Show Dog Records. Their debut single was a soundtrack for Beer For My Horses, a movie starring Toby Keith, titled "Off The Hillbilly Hook". In February 2011 singer Crystal Hoyt left the band in order to pursue a solo carreer. At this time Butter and Big Vinny, the remaining two members, are working on a new album, which is scheduled for a release later this year.
