Jamey Johnson Pays Tribute To The Late Hank Cochran

Jamey Johnson recorded a duet album to honor the memory of Hank Cochran, who died in 2012. Hank Cochran is credited with discovering Willie Nelson and also wrote tons of hits songs such as "I Fall To Pieces" (Patsy Cline), "Make The World Go Away" (Eddy Arnold) or "Ocean Front Property" (George Strait). His songs weere also recorded by the likes of Elvis Presley, George Jones and Jim Reeves.

Jamey Johnson was close friends with Cochran and brought in many guests for the tribute project. On the "Living For A Song: A Tribute To Hank Cochran" album will be found Hank Cochran's songs sung by Jamey Johnson in duets with Merle Haggard, Kris Kristoferson, Willie Nelson, Ronnie Dunn, George Strait, Elvis Costello and others.


The tribute album comes out on a vinyl record on September 25 and then on CD on October 16.
